    Recoupment refers to the fees deducted or expenses from your total earnings to recover an advance provided to you. These deductions help the party that provided the advance, to gradually recoup the money they initially paid you.

  • Does Chezaa provide UPC & ISRC Codes?

    Yes we do, we automatically assign UPC & ISRC codes for your new release. If you are moving a release from another distributor into Chezaa we recommend you use your own codes associated with the release.

  • How long does it take to distribute my music?

    Once your release is submitted and approved, the distribution process typically takes between one and ten days.  To ensure accurate delivery and playlisting, we recommend setting your release date three weeks in the future.  This allows us to efficiently deliver your content to our DSP partners and ensure a smooth distribution process.

  • Can I use an existing UPC code?

    Yes, you can use an existing UPC code when re-releasing music or transferring tracks to Chezaa from another distributor. This ensures your stream counts and playlist placements remain unchanged, simplifying the transition and preserving your music’s digital footprint.
