How do I takedown a release from the stores?

To take down a release from Chezaa stores, follow these steps:

1. Sign in to your Chezaa account.

2. Navigate to the “Approved” section under “Releases.”

3. Find the release you want to take down and click “Takedown.”

4. Your release will be moved to the Takedown section.

5. We will email you once your request is approved.

Your takedown request will undergo review by our administrative team, with approvals processed on a daily basis.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

  1. Upon request processing, partners may take anywhere from one week to a month for the takedown to be completed.
  2. Takedowns will be initiated for all partners who received the release. If specific Digital Service Providers (DSPs) need exclusion, kindly inform us.
  3. Removal of a single track from a multi-track release is not possible; a takedown must be issued for the entire release.
  4. All partners will permanently erase reviews and comments related to the UPC and partner playlists containing the release.
  5. Takedowns require Chezaa staff approval on a case-by-case basis.
  6. Fees may be applicable for this service.

Copyright Violation Takedowns:

In cases of copyright infringement takedown requests from partners, a $20 deduction will be applied to your account. This deduction will be visible in your Royalty Summary under Recoupments. We treat copyright matters seriously and uphold a zero-tolerance policy, which may result in account charges, potential forfeiture of royalties, and account termination.

Should legal fees be imposed on us, separate charges may be passed on to your account if incurred.
